Australia Day for 2013 isn't too far away.
Celebrate what’s great about Australia Day at Bicentennial Park. There’s free entertainment for the whole family!

- Free entertainment and rides from 2pm
- Australia Day Ambassador Michael Auprince - Paralympian swimming gold medallist
- Live entertainment featuring the Freeman Dancers, Tuckitinya Bush Band, Bollywood Sensations, Rhythms of Polynesia, Chosani Afrique and Stringybark Band
- Kids entertainment with the Whiz Kids and Leo Bonne Circus Show
- Sheep shearing shows, sheep dog trials, whip cracking performances, animal farm and free pony rides
- Roving performers, a community bazaar, face painting and workshops
- Giant '25' human formation to celebrate Bicentennial Park's 25th anniversary Plus a sparkling FIREWORKS finale at 8.50pm

Australia Day at Garrison Point Once again, the start of a new year also brings along with it all the great national public holidays you'd expect. Garrison Point in Sydney's inner western suburbs is once again the home to Bankstown Council hosting their Australia Day celebrations. They have been doing so for the last 25 years, so you'd expect they know a thing or two about celebrating Australia Day.

There’s still time to celebrate the 30th year of Australia’s largest ocean swim and enter The Sydney Morning Herald Cole Classic.
Take part in the 1km, 2km or 9km swims and join thousands of participants on Sunday, February 3, as they gather at Manly to compete in this iconic event.
Swim for a cause and help raise much needed funds for more than 600 charities, including the Manly Life Saving Club.
Hurry, entries closing 12pm, Wednesday, January 30. Register by Friday, January 25 to receive $10 off the entry price.
